Pink Patch Project

Along with 700 law enforcement agencies nationwide, the Hopkins Police Department is proud to participate in the Pink Patch Project, a campaign to increase public awareness about breast cancer and to raise funds for the fight against the disease, through partnerships between the American Cancer Society and local law enforcement agencies.

Collectable patches are sold to the public and all proceeds are donated to a breast cancer related charity at the end of October.

During the month of October, HPD Officers are authorized to wear pink patches in support of breast cancer awareness month. Keep an eye out for Officers wearing these patches who purchase the them with their own money in support of the cause.
